Ad Gefrin Anglo-Saxon Museum and Whisky Distillery

Ad Gefrin Anglo-Saxon Museum and Whisky Distillery is Northumberland’s latest attraction celebrating the county’s rich history and heritage. Opening on Saturday 25^th March, Ad Gefrin will take visitors on an intimate journey back through time to the Anglo-Saxon Royal Court of Ad Gefrin. The museum and distillery are located in Wooler, Northumberland, only 14 miles, roughly a 20 minute drive from our Holiday Park.

The Great Hall immersive AV museum interpretation will invite you into the heart of the Golden Age of the Kingdom of Northumbria – the royal palace of Ad Gefrin – a place of power, ritual, craftsmanship, language and one shaped by nature.”
