Perfect for families and little ghouls, the trail runs from 11am to 3pm, offering a chance to explore the grounds while following clues and surprises along the way. Dressing up is highly encouraged, so don your best costumes and get ready for a day of fun and frights. For just £4 per child, you’ll receive a trail map to guide you through the haunted paths, and while pre-booking isn’t required, accompanying adults will need a Grounds pass to join in the spooky excitement.
28th October – 3rd November
Follow the trail of weird and wonderful ‘Scarycrows’ around the villages, awarding them scores as you go. Pick up a trail map and score sheet from one of the village shops, Heatherslaw railway and the Visitor Centre at Heatherslaw, or you can download a trail map here from Thursday 24th October. Hand in the sheet at any of the same venues when you have finished the trail. We’ll add the totals together at the end of the week to determine the winning Scarycrow 2024! The decision is yours.
